Hi Everyone

I have chosen to do my free inquiry project on learning sign language! For me this a super cool chance to do this because I have always wanted to learn ASL and think that inclusion in a classroom is crucial. To be honest, I am fairly daunted by this task. Learning a new language is a completely new thing for me but I am excited to give it a go! I have started by learning some basic words and am practicing the alphabet! I think there will be a fairly steep learning curve with fluidity of movement in my fingers, but am hoping my experience with guitar playing will come in handy! My hope for this semester is that I will be able to do a video blog at the end of the semester and it be all in sign language! I am excited to hear about everyone else’s projects!
